PA66又称尼龙66，由杜邦公司在1935年发明。近年来，尼龙66工程塑料和薄膜的应用在全球快速增长。汽车工业已经成为PA66工程塑料的最大消费市场，其次是电子产品。
PA66的主要生产商有英威达、罗地亚、巴斯夫、旭化成等。英威达是世界领先的PA66聚合物和核心原料己二腈（ADN）的生产商。2019年2月，英威达在上海启动40万吨己二腈生产基地的设计，计划于2022年投产。中国PA66生产企业包括平煤神马等，国产己二腈技术与工业化正在突破之中。
PA6又称尼龙6，主要用于合成纤维与塑料。PA6与关键原料己内酰胺在中国发展相对成熟。据统计，2018年底，中国PA6产能已突破400万吨/年。己内酰胺产能也在增长较快。

Call for Presentations - PA66/PA6 & Feedstocks Tech & Market Forum 2019

ASIACHEMwill organize the PA66/PA6 & Feedstocks Tech & Market Forum 2019will be held by ASIACHEM on Dec. 5-6 in Suzhou,China.
PA66(Nylon 66), was invented by DuPont in 1935. In recent years, the application ofnylon 66 engineering plastics and films has grown rapidly worldwide. Theautomotive has become the largest consumer market for PA66 engineeringplastics, followed by electronics.
Themain producers of PA66 are INVISTA, Rhodia, BASF, and Asahi Kasei. INVISTA isthe world's leading producer of PA66 polymer and core raw material adiponitrile(ADN). In February 2019, INVISTA launched the design of a 400,000-tonadiponitrile production base in Shanghai, which is scheduled to startproduction in 2022. China's PA66 production lead by Pingmei Shenma. China’slocal AND technologies & commercialization are ongoing.
PA6(Nylon 6), is mainly used in synthetic fibers and plastics. PA6 and the key rawmaterial caprolactam are relatively mature in China. By the end of 2018,China's PA6 production capacity has exceeded 4 Mt/a. Caprolactam productioncapacity is also growing rapidly.
